With A level results coming out tomorrow, a microsite has been launched to help explore trends in national A level, AS level and GCSE entry and results data from 2014 to 2018.
The microsite has been created by FFT Education Datalab with funding from the Nuffield Foundation.
The microsite is intended to be used by teachers, parents, students, policymakers and indeed anyone with an interest in national A-Level, AS-Level and GCSE results analysis. Entry and attainment data is provided for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as the UK as whole. The data on which the site is based is that published by the Joint Council for Qualifications on GCSE and A level results days.
The team at FFT Education Datalab will be blogging about their analysis of the 2018 exam results. Ahead of A level results day, Dave Thomson asked: Does taking AS levels leaf to improved A level grades? and What will this year’s A level results look like?
A level data for 2018 will be added from 9.30am on Thursday 16 August and GCSE data for 2018 will be added from 9.30am on Thursday 23 August.
