The Nuffield Foundation has appointed Jenny Beck as Chair of the NFJO’s board
By enhancing the application of data and research evidence in decision-making, the Nuffield Family Justice Observatory (NFJO) promotes improved outcomes for children involved in the family justice system in England and Wales.
The governing board – representatives from every aspect of the family justice system who offer advice and criticism to the NFJO team – supports the decision.
Jenny Beck is a family lawyer, founding partner, and Director of Beck Fitzgerald. She is dedicated to promoting individual rights and making justice accessible and equitable. Jenny is an expert in all facets of family law, with a particular focus on complex cases concerning children.
In her role as Chair, Jenny will guide the board’s strategic goals to make sure the Nuffield FJO succeeds in achieving maximum impact for children and families. She will ensure that the board is as effective as possible under her leadership in addition to being an ambassador for the organisation. Jenny will also work closely with the director, Lisa Harker.
Since the Nuffield Foundation provides all funding and hosting for the NFJO, accountability lies with the Nuffield Foundation’s Trustee Board, freeing the NFJO Board to concentrate on strategy and development.
