Undergraduate Research Bursaries in science

Undergraduate Research Bursaries are changing for 2012. We will not be running the scheme as previously, and instead we are working with other organisations who provide similar opportunities and will provide matched funding for some of these in 2012 and 2013. Details of how to apply can be found in our Apply for funding section.

This follows the decision to close the programme after a review of our work in science and mathematics education. The review concluded that while the programme was an excellent opportunity for students, this kind of award is now funded by a range of other providers. We have therefore decided to close the scheme and concentrate its resources on its work with younger students.

Highlights

In 2012 we will be providing bursaries in partnership with other organisations.  Application information is now available.

If you received a bursary in 2011 and have not yet done so, please submit your 2011 Final Report form as soon as possible.
