Nuffield Foundation Fellowship at POST

Are you a PhD student at a UK university in your final or penultimate year? Could you produce rigorous and accessible analysis of public policy issues in science and technology in order to inform parliamentary debate?

The Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST) is offering a three month fellowship to a PhD student from a UK university funded by the Nuffield Foundation.

The Fellowship is for a three-month period and will be based at POST. The fellow will work on an area of quantitative social science, science or technology policy and produce a POSTnote briefing (see for example, ‘Early Interventions to Reduce Violent Crime’).

The Nuffield Foundation Fellowship is open to postgraduate students registered for a PhD in a UK University in any scientific or quantitative social science field who will enter their penultimate or final year of part- or full-time study in October 2019 who wish to apply for a fellowship to be undertaken between March and September 2020. The start date is to be agreed between the applicant, POST, the applicant's supervisor and University.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 12 January 2020 and interviews will be held in week commencing 10 February.
