Training pack

This Training pack 2 is designed for Subject Leaders, Local Authority advisers, and others providing training for leadership teams and teachers in schools. There are seven units to download, each with PowerPoint presentations.

Please note that this pack was written for the 2006 specifications and whilst much of the material is still relevant some sections may now be out of date. We are working to update the pack for the 2011 sepcifications.

Planning and organising the courses

Resources to support planning and organinsing the courses, include a departmental progress check, coursework support and spreadsheets to track student attainment.

CPD units

These CPD units can be used for departmental INSET. They contain general guidance for teachers delivering particular types of activity in Twenty First Century Science, e.g. running small group discussions and teaching controversial issues.
