Many teachers ask what assistance with coursework they may give candidates. The Joint Council for Qualifications publication Instructions for conducting coursework/portfolios contains advice on this. Section 4 is called "Revision, Re-Drafting and Interim Review of Work".
Particular paragraphs to note are 4.3, 4.4 and 4.5.
