Student Ambassadors

Leon Chen's award winning engineering project was based at the University of Bath. Today, he is doing a Masters in Engineering Science at Oxford and is an Oxford-Man Institute of Quantitative Finance scholar.

Anna Ressel undertook research at the Chemistry Department of the University of Central Lancashire. She is now studying Medicine and as a result of her experiences particuliarly interested in working within Medical Research.

Kate Golding conducted a psychological experiment at a day centre run by the head injury charity Headway.  After her degree in Psychology and Physiology at Oxford University she is now working in a psychiatric hospital.

Lydia Arnold's project was based at a Laser Lab within Salford University. She is now studying Medicine at the University of Manchester.

Holly Batchelor's award-winning project investigated cosmic rain. She is now studying Physics at the University of St Andrews.

David Bendell is now studying for a Geology degree at Exeter University. His bursary placement was based at the Kent and Sussex Hospital in Tunbridge Wells.

Mary McGeown's project investigating the processing of prawn shell waste won several awards. She later studied dentistry at Trinity College, Dublin.

Gurjit Singh Sidhu worked on radiotherapy treatment in the Radiotherapy Department at Ninewells Hospital. He is now studying Aero Mechanical Engineering.
