Welcome to Salters-Nuffield Advanced Biology (SNAB)

Salters-Nuffield Advanced Biology (SNAB) is an advanced level course taught through real-life biology contexts.

SNAB was developed by the Nuffield Foundation and the University of York Science Education Group. Its development was funded by the Nuffield Foundation and the Salters' Institute

The awarding body is Edexcel and the publisher is Pearson Education. Our About SNAB page has further information on all the contributors.

Two students share top spot in A2

Students’ outstanding performance in the 2012 examinations was recognised at the Salters’ Institute Annual Awards Ceremony at Salters Hall on Friday 23rd November

Changes to A level

There will be a new specification for September 2013 but the only change will be the removal of the January examinations.
