Winter issue of Nuffield News
19 December 2011

The winter edition of our newsletter is now available to download.
Issue 19 includes the latest from the IFS study on the impact of birth month on educational achievement and well-being; details of our report into foundation funding of international development; and news of the Nuffield Council on Bioethics' recommendations for ethical policies relating to the donation of bodily materials.
We also feature news of The Supportive School, a new book which identifies the schooling factors that affect young people's development and well-being, and an innovative new manual for helping governments regulate the marketing of junk food to children.
The newsletter also covers the findings from Penny Darbyshire's fascinating study of what it means to be a judge in today's legal system, as well as news of Science bursary student Hannah Blyth's astronomical achievements.
