| November 2008 | Application form and guidelines available from website. |
| December 2008 | Mailing to universities. |
| By 5pm 10 February 2009 | Closing date – applications should be posted to the Foundation to arrive by Tuesday 10 February 2008. We do not accept email or fax applications. |
| By 5pm 13 March 2009 | We will acknowledge receipt of the application by email to the supervisor. |
| By 5pm on 8 May 2009 | We will email supervisors with the outcome of their application. We are hoping to let supervisors know the outcome of their applications earlier in 2009 than in previous years.† |
†In consequence, some supervisors may receive the result earlier than others. Our decisions depend on Peer Review decisions and Trustees’ approval and these do not all occur at the same time.
Supervisors should keep their student informed of the progress of their application.
