Ka-Yee Cheng from Arnold School Blackpool with her project supervisor Dr A Lee. Ka-Yee took a 4-week placement in the School of Built Environment at the University of Salford. If you’re a teacher you can get behind our scheme, inspire students to consider higher education and careers in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) and develop contacts with working scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians in industry and research institutions.
Students benefit from working in industry and research institutions, gain an insight into current research and development, and get first-hand experience of STEM in a working environment.
