ENEF celebrates 50th anniversary

As part of the celebrations for the Elizabeth Nuffield Educational Fund’s 50th anniversary, we are adding two new pages to our website: one we hope will be useful to women seeking funding for their studies, and the second we believe will inspire them to keep trying!

Mature women students, particularly those with caring responsibilities, often have difficulty finding sources of financial support for their studies, as ENEF recently discovered when conducting a survey of other organisations funding women in education. We have now compiled a web-based resource for students to access. Click here for more information and to download the Directory.

Over the years a significant number of women have benefited from the Fund, and we have recently been in touch with some of them. Their biographies, now launched on the ENEF website, make fascinating and inspiring reading. Their careers are many and varied, and recipients of grants even include a former ENEF Committee member and Chair! Click here to find out more.
