MBE awarded to Deputy Director

Sharon Witherspoon, Deputy Director of the Nuffield Foundation, has been awarded an honorary MBE for services to Social Science. Since Sharon is an American citizen, the announcement did not appear in the normal birthday honours list, but has instead been published on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website, where Sharon is one of only eight honorary award recipients this year.
The Foundation is delighted for Sharon and this thoroughly deserved recognition of the work she has been doing through the years.
