2008 Timetable
| November 2007 | Application form and guidelines available from website. |
| December 2007/ January 2008 | Adverts in Nature, New Scientist, THES; mailing to universities. |
| 12 February 2008 | Closing date – applications should be posted to the Foundation to arrive by Tuesday 12 February 2008. We do not accept e-mail or fax applications. |
| By 7 March 2008 | We shall acknowledge receipt of the application by e-mail to the supervisor. |
| By 9 May 2008 | We shall e-mail supervisors with the outcome of their application. We are hoping to let supervisors know the outcome of their applications earlier in 2008 than in previous years.† |
†In consequence, some supervisors may receive the result earlier than others. Our decisions depend on Peer Review decisions and Trustees’ approval and these do not all occur at the same time.
Supervisors should keep their student informed of the progress of their application.
