Institute for Social and Economic Research, University of Essex
£88,972 over three years
Dr Cappellari and Professor Jenkins wish to explore the factors governing year on year changes in people’s earnings and incomes. They will look at the influence of human capital, the low pay/unemployment cycle and the impact of poverty on children’s education. The partnership builds on Dr Cappellari’s existing research skills in wage dynamics and will develop his skills in studying poverty and income.
