Education 14-19

In October 2003, Nuffield launched a full-scale Review of 14-19 Education and Training, based at the University of Oxford Department of Educational Studies under the leadership of Professor Richard Pring. This takes an independent, long-term, system-wide and international comparative approach to reviewing 14 -19 education in England and Wales in order to inform current and future policies in this area.
The Review is in its second phase of 3 year funding. For the future, it will bring together the findings of a series of high-profile consultative seminars, together with analysis of data on key aspects of education system performance. The work is described on the website www.nuffield14-19review.org.uk where you can also download reports and commissioned papers. The Review of 14-19 Education has an Advisory Committee which meets three times a year. Click here for the Advisory Committee's current membership.
The Foundation also supports a small number of other, linked, projects in this field. Click on the live links below for more information.
